My Living Room Reveal

It’s finally here – my living room reveal! Approximately two years in and I’m finally done decorating. Here’s a little look.

When it comes to decorating decisions, I really am my own worst client. I change my mind every time I see the latest interiors trend, and well, I guess that’s just one of the hazards of my job. It’s also made worse by the fact that I’m drawn to a number of styles so it’s hard for me to keep the overall look consistent. I did however know, that I wanted all of the major pieces of furniture to be neutral or white in colour. I went for a GlobeWest sofa (no longer sell in this fabric though), a Blu Dot coffee table, and Moroccan style rug from West Elm. From there, I added smaller decorator items and soft furnishings in soft blues and blush pinks, with a few pops of brass for good measure.

The final finishing touch was adding the two floating oak shelves from Clickon Furniture, which I had a handyman install. I’ve added my collection of ceramics, a couple of pot plants, along with a custom original artwork by Amy Hunter.

I also updated the art in my dining area with a photographic print by Kara Rosenlund
