Outdoor Rug Styling with Miss Amara
I recently styled my home’s outdoor space with two gorgeous PET rugs from Miss Amara’s outdoor rug range. Here’s a closer look at them.

In my front yard, we have two entertaining zones – the bench seat for lounging around, and the deck for alfresco dining. Rugs are great for defining areas in the home and this also extends to outdoor spaces. It’s also a good idea to keep to the same tones within each area. So for our bench seat area with limestone crazy paving and beige bench seat cushions, I wanted a rug that would tie in together with those creamier tones and chose the Bridie rug from Miss Amara. Hand-woven in India from 100% recycled PET fibres, Bridie has stain-resistant qualities, making it an incredibly low-maintenance and an easy-care style for high-traffic zones, and kid and pet-friendly homes.
PET is a fantastic eco-friendly material made from recycled plastic ottles but with the silky smooth underfoot feel of cotton. Due to the durable nature of PET fibres, PET rugs are suitable for both indoor and semi-outdoor use.
Our deck is a dark grey (almost black) so in this dining zone, I went for the Emelie monochrome diamond tufted rug to go with those grey tones. This rug is also made from eco-friendly PET fibres.
Emelie features a striking diamond tribal print enhanced by tufted highlights of plush pile in crisp white. This rug’s print makes a strong design statement and really pops against the darker flooring, making it the perfect choice for this space.
