I’m so excited to announce I’m now offering interior styling services and design consultations through my new website Interiors by Adore.

For the past 14 years I’ve worked as the editor and owner of Adore Home Magazine and in that time the thing that has given me the greatest joy is piecing together mood boards and product pages - they’re definitely my favourite part of the job (oh and also going to amazing homes which we photograph for the magazine).

I’ve also renovated two homes over the years, plus my parents one bedroom cottage which they now rent out as an Airbnb (you can see a selection of my work in this blog post). I love designing interiors and naturally want to keep doing so - but this time for other people! I’ve had so many people reach out to me over the years asking if I offer design services but I had always politely declined. The magazine does keep me pretty busy, but as I don’t have a current renovation project, I’d love to help you tackle your own home! Whether it’s just a single room, selecting materials for your kitchen/bathroom reno, or a full living room plan including furniture and decor selections, I’m here for it!

As I am still juggling work with Adore, I’ll only be taking on limited clients and consults per week.

So how does it all work? Well first off you’ll need to book either a in-home or over the phone consultation. This service gives you the ability to show me your home in person (or via email for those not living locally to me), where we can discuss in detail your decorating/layout/renovation ideas. In general, a design consult for one room will take only up to an hour whereas a full home consult can last up to 3 hours. If you’re feeling unsure on your design style, layout of your home, or furniture/decor, this is a great option to have you on a clear path to the home of your dreams. My in home consults are only available to the following postcodes: 4007, 4011, 4012, 4017, 4019, 4020, 4022, 4031, 4032, 4034, 4506, 4508, 4509. Any consultations outside of this area can be done over the phone. A consult costs $100+GST per hour.
