Destination: Motel Mollymook
Recently opened in the surf town of Mollymook on NSW’s South Coast,
Motel Molly is a beachside hotel that’s been refurbished and reimagined
as a retro-glam designer getaway.

Inside its one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments and king rooms, a palette of pastels and soft natural hues feels luxurious and contemporary. Mediterranean influences give the design an exotic twist – think sunken Moroccan-style baths and handmade tiles, textiles and ceramics.
A collaboration between Sydney-based Knox Developments and award-winning interior design and architecture practice Richards Stanisich, Motel Molly enjoys direct beach access and retains an air of laid-back seaside nostalgia. There are surfboards for hire, and fringed umbrellas line the pool; rinse the sand off under a beautiful outdoor shower, then barbeque beneath the cabana and dine alfresco if you wish.
The local area offers snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, golfing, fishing and more, plus a thriving foodie scene of restaurants, cafes, bars and wineries. If breezy coastal sophistication is your jam, Molly might just be your girl.
